Tara Rawls Jenkins is a creative communicator of God’s word. Her messages often infuse spoken word,
music and dance, utilizing secular cultural references to explain scriptural principles. She is a graduate of
Clark-Atlanta University, Moody Bible Institute and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. With a
passion to see women, wives and girls empowered, at her local church, she serves as Director of
Women’s Ministries. Additionally, she is the founder of MinistryMates.org, an organization that equips
Senior Pastors’ wives for ministry.
Tara resides in Chicago with her songwriting/recording artist husband Charles, lead pastor of
FellowshipChicago.com, and their three extraordinary children Princess (16), Paris (14), Charles III (10).

April 5th, Friday @ 7:30 pm is opening night with a night of praise and worship.   Saturday-April 6th starts at 7:30 am  to 2:00 pm. with a Full day  of sessions.  Sunday- April 7th, We culminate both services at 7:30 and 11:00 with our all Women’s Choir.

Dr. Dawn Carey was born and raised in Miami, Florida by her grandparents. Her grandparents taught her the importance of love, family and God. As a young lady Dr. Carey cultivated her spirituality while growing up in the Church of Christ Written in Heaven in Miami.
Dr. Carey, is an avid student that received both her Bachelors and Masters of Business Administration degrees from the University of Miami. She taught Mathematics in Miami Dade County Public Schools before receiving her license as an Insurance Adjuster. She worked 21 years in the corporate arena. She received the call to ministry and not one to do things half way, Dr. Carey completed her Doctorate Degree in Ministry through Jacksonville Theological Seminary.
In 2009 under the leadership of Senior Pastor Bishop Will James, Dr. Carey was called to the position of Assistant Pastor at the Holiness Church of Florida. Through her tireless dedication, she has made great strides in spirituality, education, and church growth. In December 2015 Bishop James decided to pass the baton to Dr. Carey who is now the Senior Pastor.
From her experiences in the corporate arena to working in the trenches as an educator, from nurturing spirituality to counseling families, God’s invisible hand has been gently guiding Dr. Carey to where she is today.
Dr. Carey is the founder of Daybreak Enterprises Inc. (MyDaybreak.net) which is dedicated to empowering and enriching others spiritually, mentally and emotionally. Daybreak has a yearly retreat which helps to spiritually revive and renew all that attend.
She serves on the board of trustees for the Freedom Heart Foundation.
She is a member of The Women Pastors’ Alliance, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc.,Dade/Monroe Kinship Inc.,; to name a few.
Dr. Dawn Carey is married to Deacon Vincent Carey and together they have one son by birth, Donovan and three bonus blessings God has given them which are Cemroy, Tyrece and Damarius
She is humbled and honored that God has chosen her as the anointed vessel to carry out His will and touch the lives of others in such a time as this.

Dr. Jamila Rauf Jackson is the second of four daughters born to Michael and Portia Rauf. She was mentored by her great grandmother, Angelina Winters, a missionary from the Bahamas, who influenced her passion for the Lord and for ministry. In 2008, she obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Florida International University where she studied English Education while serving as the president of The Impact Movement, a national Christian organization. Simultaneously, she attained an Associate’s degree from Jacksonville Theological Seminary in Religious Education. In 2010, she received her Master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry from St. Thomas University. And in 2015, she graduated with her Ph.D. in Practical Theology from St. Thomas University. Her dissertation focused on Practical Theology, particularly highlighting the paradigm of Missiology in the African American Church.

She attended New Birth Baptist Church for 11 years, where she served as a licensed minister and the director of the Young Adult Ministry under the leadership of Bishop Victor T. Curry. In April of 2014, she married her soul mate, Reverend Alphonso Jackson Jr. and they both were relocated to The Greater New Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, where he serves as the Senior Pastor. In 2016, they welcomed their first child, daughter Angelina Jane Jackson, to the world.

Dr. Jackson published her first book titled Worth the Wait in 2014, which is a 40 day devotional intended to encourage single women. She has worked in the Miami Dade County Public School System since 2008, and after her doctoral studies, she has served as an adjunct professor at Broward College, St. Thomas University, and Florida Memorial University. She has also been a guest lecturer and panelist member throughout her career and ministry. God is first and foremost in her life, and she strives to serve Him by serving His people. She is a strong believer of the Gospel and strives to preach not only with words, but through her life as well.
